Alex Hall is a passionate educator, coach, and storyteller rooted in the heart of Appalachia. He currently serves as the Administrative Assistant to the Provost at Alice Lloyd College, where he also leads the college’s fast-growing esports program as Head Coach. A proud graduate of Alice Lloyd, Alex holds a Bachelor’s degree in Pre-Law and is now pursuing graduate studies in Business Administration, History, and Education.
Blending academic insight with a love for leadership and innovation, Alex’s work spans the classroom, competitive gaming, and the cultural narratives of his Appalachian heritage. His writing reflects a deep commitment to connecting past and present—drawing on history, personal experience, and regional identity to tell meaningful, resonant stories.
